Welcome to Blissful Beadwork Art Designs located
in Sedona, Arizona. Each of the above candle sleeves is designed to
slip onto "meditation" or "miracle" glass tumbler candles. Every sleeve
is specifically designed to fit the glass candle container.
Approximately one hundred hours of labor and up to 25,000 glass seed
beads are used to complete a candle sleeve. Each is hand beaded around
the candle using tubular peyote stitch and Nymo thread, The design
flows seamlessly around the candle. These candles sleeves are heirloom
quality with great attention paid to precision and perfection of design
and workmanship. Great pride is taken in each creation. Each hand-woven
candle sleeve is a piece of artwork that you will enjoy for many years.
Ever candle sleeve is an original design, using a combination of opaque
and transparent Japanese glass seed beads. When lit, the candlelight
shines through the transparent beads setting off highlights and giving
definition and depth to the design. The candles used are manufactured
to burn for 100 hours. Once the candle has burned part of the way,
simply drop in a pillar, votive or tea light candle. Alternatively, you
can purchase paraffin wax and wicks at your local craft store and
refill the candles. Candles above are samples only. Each candle
sleeve will be made to order in your choice of color and design. If you
have a particular design (perhaps in a rug, fabric or china pattern,
for example) you can send in a photograph and it will be incorporated
as closely as possible into the design, within the limitations imposed
by the peyote stitch. Each candle ordered can be ready for shipping
approximately 3-4 weeks after your order is placed, provided all orders
are current. |
